Working from home through a network marketing business — why do you hear so many people say, “Oh, I tried that, and it doesn’t work,” or “That’s just a pyramid scheme”? Why would you even listen to those people? Obviously, they haven’t done their research. Maybe they did try — maybe for a week or a month — but some of those same people paid anywhere from $50,000 to $250,000 for a four-year education they’re not even using, or they’re earning $50,000 a year with that four-year education they’re still paying off at 45 years old. I don’t know why people would listen to them. Instead, why don’t you listen to the hundreds of thousands of people who are still getting paid in network marketing from work they did 15 or 20 years ago? Those are the people I would listen to about that industry because obviously, they did something the others didn’t.
In life, nothing works unless you put in the work — the blood, sweat, and tears to make it happen. An air-conditioning or plumbing company provides a needed service, yet many of those businesses fail. Why? The owner wasn’t using proper systems, wasn’t managing money correctly, wasn’t hiring the right people, and wasn’t willing to learn the necessary skills to run a business. They may have been excellent at the trade but not at being a business owner. It’s the same with network marketing: someone starts and stops in a week or a month; some make it six months but don’t do anything, and then wonder why it didn’t work.
Sometimes they talk to five or ten friends and family — all haters — who ask, “How could you get involved in one of those pyramid schemes or MLMs?” The person buying into that negativity quits, while many others go on to make a tremendous amount of residual income for years. You can’t listen to the haters or people with stinking thinking. Think for yourself. Look at what’s happening in our economy with AI and job disruption — it might be time to learn a few extra skills and do something else.
Most importantly, have the courage to shoot the first video, make the first blog post, and act even when others say it’s stupid. Assess who’s telling you not to and ask them for evidence: statistics, numbers, reasons. Ask why hundreds of thousands of people are earning substantial residual income every month for work they did years ago.
A lot of people talk out of fear. Friends and family sometimes want to keep you where they are because your success might remove you from their world. You must have the courage to take the first step and do something different. If you plan on things staying the same, they will; doing the same things yields the same results.
I’ve been through a lot in my life, and one thing I’ve learned is we can’t get back our time — time is precious. If you want true financial security and time freedom, find a vehicle that can provide that.
Network marketing can provide that vehicle. Yes, it takes work and learning some new skills, but the financial entry is small, and most people can afford it. In many of these businesses, people are willing to coach newcomers and provide systems for success. The rest is up to the individual — you must have the courage to take action.
